Spring 2025 League Sign Up!
We are excited to offer DPI Spring League! We will have both a women’s and men’s league split in divisions based off DUPR/skill level. You will input your current DUPR rating when checking out. If you do not have a DUPR score, please put “Unknown” and we will sort you appropriately.
If you are purchasing for multiple players, you must add them separately to your cart.
We will run league every Monday evening from May 12 to June 23 with the exception of Memorial Day.
DPI members receive a discount on leagues. Look for a discount code from us in your email. Contact us if you need a code resent.
You may put your name is as a substitute for full divisions and we will contact you if/when we are in need of sub for the week.
DPI partnering with Wesley Foundation!
DPI is very excited to announce a partnership with the Wesley Foundation to host a pickleball fundraiser tournament. Mark your calendars to join us at the 2nd Annual Delta Pickleball Open on Saturday, February 22nd held at DSU outdoor pickleball courts. Players of all skill levels are encouraged to participate. Registration cost is $70 per team. Mixed doubles will be played in the morning while men’s and women’s doubles will begin after lunch. You can find out more info and register for the tournament here.
DPI Hosts New Year’s Day Mixer!
DPI hosted the first mixer of the year on New Year’s Day! Thank you to everyone that came out to play! It was a great way to start of 2025! Keep a lookout for upcoming events and join in!
XC HOSTS SPOOKTACULAR
DPI member and Delta State Head XC Coach Britnee Smith hosts Paddle Battle Spooktacular October 31-November 2. All proceeds from the tournament go towards the Delta State XC program. October 31 was for students only and open to all students in the surrounding Cleveland area. November 1 was women’s and men’s doubles bracket play. On November 2 the tournament concluded with mixed doubles bracket play. We had several DPI members to participate and medal in the Spooktacular.
October 31- DPI Sub Steven McDonald and DPI Member Daniel Webster finished second in the student's bracket.
November 1- DPI Member Judy Baldwin and Susan Denton? Won first place in the 2.5-3.0 women’s division. DPI Members Abby Havard and Shelby Polk won first place in the 3.5 and above women’s division. DPI Member Owen Kittle and Sam Purpora won first place in the 4.0 men's division. DPI Member Kenny Gile and DPI Sub Damon Moore finished second in the 4.0 men’s division.
November 2- DPI Members Judy Baldwin and Daniel Webster won first place in the 3.5 and below mixed division. DPI Members Abby Havard and Owen Kittle finished second in the 3.5 and above mixed division.
It was a fun three days of good, competitive pickleball! Congrats to all DPI members!
